DAY 1: Singapore – Melbourne/Sydney – Hobart
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Hobart via Melbourne/Sydney/Brisbane.
DAY 2: Royal Botanical Gardens - Mt Field National Park - Russell Falls - Horseshoe Falls - Abalone Factory
Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens and discover an impressive collection of plants dating back to the nineteenth century. Around midday, we then make our way to Mount Field National Park which is the oldest nature and heritage reserve national park in Tasmania. Take a walk in the ancient rainforest, where this easy walk will take you to the famous Russell Falls and Horseshoe Falls. You can choose to visit the abalone factory. (Taste fee $10pp)
DAY 3: Brunny Island - The Neck - Oyster Farm - Cheese Farm - Honey Farm
Cross the Hobart town and arrive at the ferry pier on the ferry to Brunny Island. Guests can be upgraded to a three-hour (Optional$135) yacht tour around the island, or follow the tour guide to the famous Double Moon bay (The Neck). Visit Oyster Farm on the island after lunch to taste the tastiest oysters (self-paying) in Tasmania. Continue to visit Honey Farm and Cheese Farm, and Honey and Cheese tasting. There are some small shops, you find cheese, taste seafood or whisky (Tasmania production Sullivan Cove has won the grand prix whisky in the world the best single malt whisky's reputation).
DAY 4: Huon Valley - Tahune Forest Airwalk - Lobster Factory
After breakfast, we head to the Lobster Factory (exclusive) to visit the wild Australian Lobster, to learn about the life of wild lobsters. After the tour, you can choose to buy the lobster, which is lower than market price. When returning to the hotel, we can request the restaurant to cook for you. Then we go to the air walkway in Huon Valley, 500 meters long, all made of steel, 48 meters from the ground. You can enjoy the primeval forest scenery of the ancient wood at close range, and experience the luxuriant forest canopy around you. On the way down the aisle, a wishing tree will be passed, and locals believe that making a wish on the stump will be a dream come.
DAY 5: Port Arthur - Private Bay - Tasman Arch - Tessellated Pavement - Devil's Kitchen - Honey Factory
Depart to the Tasman Peninsula and visit local attractions like the Remarkable Cave, Blow Hole, Tasman Arch, Tessellated Pavement, Devil's kitchen. Go on a cruise around Port Arthur, which was once a notorious place famous for its convict settlement in the 1800s. See the chilling Penitentiary and Separate Prison among a number of other landmarks and learn about the life of the convicts within the walls of these buildings. We will visit Tasmania honey centre on the way back.
DAY 6: Freycinet National Park Wineglass Bay - Swansea
We travel onwards to Freycinet Peninsula, a 38km long stretch of pristine coast land. Surrounded by white sandy beaches, aquamarine waters and lush forests and vegetation, this peninsula is also home to Wineglass Bay, considered to be one of the best beaches in the world. In the afternoon, we cross over the town of Swansea.
DAY 7: Cradle Mountain - Dove Lake - Sheffield
Today we travel to Sheffield, the town of murals, on the north-west coast of Tasmania. See the murals scattered throughout the town and unearth the profound history behind each one of them. Next, we take a tour through a Honey Farm and taste some natural honey before visiting the majestic Cradle Mountain, one of the four summits of the mountain range. At the base of the mountain, we will visit Dove Lake, a popular destination perfect for nature walks and views of breathtaking sceneries.
DAY 8: Launceston – Cataract Gorge Reserve - Tamar Valley - Swiss Town - Lavender Farm / Ross Town
Launceston is Tasmania's second largest city.Visit Swiss village to enjoy the European style town. Proceed towards north to visit Tamar Valley. Next, we head to the Cataract Gorge Reserve. There we can enjoy the valley surrounded by mountains by cable car (Optional $15). After lunch, we choose to visit Lavender Farm or Ross town. In December and January, travel onwards to the Bridestowe Lavender Farm (Optional $20); here we can buy the very popular lavender bear. (It is the largest lavender farm in Southern hemisphere). Alternatively we might go to Ross town and head over to the third oldest bridge in Australia (Ross Bridge) and go to the Rose Bakery to enjoy fresh-baked dishes (own expenses). Brady’s Lookout, a unique observation deck to enjoy the beautiful scenery of whole Launceston.
DAY 9: Hobart - Melbourne / Sydney - Singapore
Breakfast at hotel. Departure transfer to airport for your flight departure back to Singapore.
