DAY 01 - ARRIVAL KUCHING
Upon arrival in Kuching International Airport, meet and greet by local representative. Transfer to hotel. Free at own leisure.
DAY 02: SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE - CITY TOUR - SUNSET CRUISE (BREAKFAST / LUNCH)
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for a 45mins ride to Sarawak Cultural Village - Sarawak's very own living museum. Nestled at the base of Mount Santubong, the village has full reconstructions of traditional abodes of ethnic groups in Sarawak. Highlights if this tour are the traditional longhouse of the Iban people and a 45-mins cultural show that simply cannot be missed. Lunch is served at the Budaya Restaurant of the village.
After lunch, proceed to Kuching city tour - visit Sarawak Museum bypassing the city centre including the Chinatown, Tua Pek Kong Chinese Temple, Main Bazaar, Waterfront and some heritage buildings as well as the Old State Mosque. Later transfer to the Waterfront Jetty to embark on the Sunset Cruise at 5pm. The cruise will take about 90-mins along the Sarawak River. After that, transfer back to hotel.
DAY 03: SEMENGGOH WILDLIFE CENTRE - BORNEO HIGHLAND RESORT - ANAH RAIS LONGHOUSE (BREAKFAST / LUNCH)
Breakfast at hotel. Early pick up at 8am for a 30-mins ride to Semenggoh Wildlife Centre to experience a rare opportunity to enjoy close encounters with semi-wild orang utans. Then take a scenic 30-min drive passing through lush green countryside dotted with paddy fields, pepper gardens and rubber plantations and flanked by jungle-clad mountains before arriving at the foothills of Borneo Highland Resort. Vegetarian Lunch will be served at the resort. A highland rainforest tour will cover the Kalimantan Border Lookout Point, Flower Nursery, Organic Farm and garden area. Later, guests will be transferred to the foothills by the resort vehicle where our tour representative will be waiting. Continue the journey by taking a 5-min ride to the Bidayuh Longhouse, Anah Rais which was built about 200 years ago. The Bidayuh or Land Dayaks are very warm and gentle people well known for their hospitality and are reputed to be the best makers of tuak or rice wine. Transfer back to hotel after the tour.
DAY 04: DEPARTURE KUCHING (BREAKFAST)
Breakfast at hotel and free at own leisure till check out.
Transfer to airport for departure.
