DAY 01 : ARRIVAL PARO - THIMPHU --- [LUNCH / DINNER]
Upon arrival in Paro International Airport, meet and greet by local representative. At 7,333 feet above sea level, the first thing you will likely notice is the effect of the high altitudes, so we will give you time to acclimate as we take a short drive to Thimpu.
Thimphu is the capital of Bhutan and the perfect location to transition from your familiar lifestyle to our unique country that is like no other place on earth. 
  • Kuensel Phodra - sitting Buddha statue which is 167 feet high and situated on top of an overlooking the city of Thimpu.
  • The National Memorial Chorten - was built in 1974 to memorialize Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, the third king of Bhutan (1928-1972)
  • Tashichohodzong - houses of His Majesty Throne Room and as the summer home to the Monastic Body

DAY 02 : THIMPHU CITY TOUR --- [BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER]
  • The Tango Monastery - a Buddhist monastery located 14km to the north of the capital city of Thimpu in Bhutan, near Cheri Mountain.
  • Pangri Zampa Lhakhang - the main temple of Pangri Zampa is a four storey building. 
  • Weaving is an integrak component of the culture and tradition of Bhutan. With the aim to preserve and promote this living art, the Royal Textile Academy of Bhutan was instituted in May 2005 under the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Mother Sangay Choden Wangchuk as a non-government, non-profit organization.
  • Institure for Zorig Chusum - a small institute for students to learn various traditional arts and crafts of Bhutan. 
  • Centenary Farmers' Market - farmers come to sell vegetables, cheeses, grains and the occassional yak leg. Across the street is the Kundeyling Baazam where you can bargain for local handicrafts such as mala beads and prayers wheels.

DAY 03 : PUNAKHA DAY EXCURSION --- [BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER]
  • Punakha Dzong - refers as the "Palace of Happiness" 
  • Druk Wangyel Chhorten
  • Chimi Lhakhang - "Fertility Temple"

DAY 04 : THIMPHU - PARO --- [BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER]
  • Taktsang Monastery - Tiger's Nest Bhutan's most iconic landmark and religious site 
  • Rinpung Dzong - now used as administration centre and school for monks
  • The National Museum - one of the finest natural history museums in South Asia 
Overnight at Thimphu Hotel.
 
DAY 05 : DEPARTURE --- [ BREAKFAST]
After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight departure flight back to Singapore.
